Francis – Southwestern Nebraska PF
The Southwestern Nebraska PF chapter was formed in 1990. Heather has served as the chapter's Habitat Chairman for 9 years since 1997.
Her chapter has spent over $225,645 on 557 habitat projects (19,973 total acres) and 5 Youth Mentor Hunt events (88 boys and girls) since 2001.
In 2002, Heather received the Nebraska PF "Wildlife Professional of the Year" Award for her outstanding work as the Conservation and Information Specialist with the Upper Republican NRD.
Heather's chapter supports a number of statewide habitat programs including Corners For Wildlife, CRP-MAP, and the State Habitat Raffle.
Not only does Heather serve as the Habitat Chairman for her chapter, she also volunteers her time as a District Representative on the Nebraska PF State Council.
Heather resides in Imperial with her husband Mike and two sons, Cade and Casey. Heather and Mike are both tremendous PF supporters and they go above and beyond their call of duty to help deliver the mission of Pheasants Forever.
