Scott Brummond ~ Logan Creek PF
The Logan Creek PF chapter was formed in 1989. Scott has been on the committee since the chapter was formed and has served as a committee member, secretary, and chapter President among many other roles.
Scott is currently serving his second two year term as the Nebraska PF State Council President. His leadership and dedication has helped take PF in Nebraska to higher levels of success and effectiveness.
Scott developed a love of hunting and the outdoors at an early age and spends countless hours pursuing pheasants and other wildlife with his two German Shorthaired pointers.
Scott and his wife Cindy have been married for 24 years and have three daughters Kristine, Jenny, and Liz. Two of Scott and Cindy’s daughters have participated in the Youth Mentor Hunt Program and enjoy spending time with their dad in the field.
In addition to Pheasants Forever, Scott is active on several different boards and organizations, including the Izaak Walton League, his Church Council, and a Wayne community development group.
The Logan Creek chapter has spent over $343,400 on 1,512 habitat projects (33,247 total acres) and 7 Youth Mentor Hunt events (137 boys and girls) since 1991.
The chapter supports a number statewide habitat programs including Corners For Wildlife, CRP-MAP, and the State Habitat Raffle.
Scott Brummond is an outstanding family man, hunter, and PF leader. His dedication and devotion to the mission of PF is inspiring. Scott realizes the potential benefits that can come from PF’s grassroots conservation model and does all he can to make sure that potential is realized. His leadership, dedication, and passion make him a true PF Hero.
