Improving Nebraska and its Natural Resources One Acre at a Time!
Darren McCune ~ Heritage PF
The Heritage PF chapter was formed in 2001. Darren has served as chapter President for 4 years since 2002.
The chapter has spent over $116,000 on 202 habitat projects (17,699 total acres) and 5 Youth Mentor Hunt events (36 boys and girls) since 2001.
Darrin’s passion for hunting is evident in the many days he spends in the field chasing pheasants with his dog Toby.
Darren’s chapter supports a number of state-wide habitat programs including Corners For Wildlife, CRP-MAP and the State Habitat Raffle.
Darren devotes a huge amount of time and energy into working with landowners on habitat projects and planning the chapter’s annual banquet. The Heritage PF chapter’s success is largely due to Darren’s tireless efforts.
Darren resides in Alliance with his wife Glenda and son Chandler. Darren and Glenda are also expecting a new baby girl in August. Darren’s entire family are tremendous PF supporters and attribute a great deal to the chapters success.
