Randy “Tank” Dunn – Dixon County PF
The Dixon County PF chapter was formed in 1989. Randy has been on the committee since the chapter was formed and has served as chapter President for at least 10 years among many other roles.
Randy has served as a PF State Council District Representative for several years and is currently serving the Nebraska PF State Council as Vice President. His dedication and willingness to take on any role he is asked to do have helped take PF in Nebraska to higher levels of success and effectiveness.
Randy owns and operates his own over-the-road trucking business.
Randy grew up hunting in Dixon County and even though Randy hasn't hunted in at least seven years he still does his best to promote hunting and wildlife habitat.
Randy has been a Mentor to numerous kids at Dixon County’s annual Youth Mentor Hunt.
The Dixon County chapter has spent over $234,000 on 943 habitat projects (35,311 total acres) and 5 Youth Mentor Hunt events (73 boys and girls) since 1991.
The chapter supports a number of statewide habitat programs including CRP-MAP, the State Habitat Raffle, and PF’s Legislative Action Fund.
Randy “Tank” Dunn is one of the most dedicated PF volunteers in the country. His level of commitment to the mission of PF is amazing. Randy believes in PF’s grassroots conservation model and always goes the extra mile to ensure that future generations of Nebraskans will continue to be able to enjoy hunting the wily ringneck pheasant. He is truly a PF Hero.
