The Great Plains PF chapter was formed in 1994. Kelly has been an active committee member since the chapter was formed and has served as chapter President for 6 years since 2000.
The chapter has spent over $459,891 on 1,018 habitat projects (32,766 total acres) and 10 Youth Mentor Hunt events (235 boys and girls) since 1994.
Kelly’s chapter leads the state for enrolling Corners For Wildlife Projects. Since the program’s inception, the chapter has enrolled 396 acres of nesting cover (64 corners) in their local area.
The chapter supports a number of statewide habitat programs including Corners For Wildlife, CRP-MAP, and the State Habitat Raffle .
Kelly’s wife Angie and their three children Rachal, Tyler, and Chelsea reside in Holdrege, NE and are all strong supporters of PF.
