Pheasant Fest Wild Game Cooking Contest

Do you have an undiscovered wild game recipe?  Put it to the test this January at the 1^st annual Pheasant Fest wild game cooking contest. Create an original recipe for any of the seven categories - Pheasant Appetizer, Pheasant Entrée, Other Game Appetizer, Other Game Entrée, Bread, Wild Game Pizza or Jerky. Contest runs from November 10, 2006 to January 1, 2007.

 Recipe entries must be original, and cannot have been previously published, won another competition or contest, or been used for advertising or promotional purposes. Each entry must: (1) include recipe name and the number of servings that the recipe yields, (2) list ingredients with measurements in order of use; (3) include step-by-step preparation and cooking directions, and (4) include: Entrant name, age and complete address with zip code, telephone number with area code and e-mail (optional).

 Note: entrants are required to prepare their recipe entry and bring to the National Pheasant Fest at the Iowa Events Center on January 20, 2007. Entrants will be contacted by Sponsors and given a specific time for judging of their contest entry. Any entrants who do not bring their prepared recipe entry, will be disqualified. A $10.00 fee per entry will be collected when the recipe is delivered to the National Pheasant Fest on January 20, 2007.  For registration information, visit www.pheasantsforever.org.
