Nebraska PF & QF Wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all of the things we are lucky to have in our lives.  The people in our lives and the blessings we’ve all received over the past year are certainly at the top of the list. 

Nebraska Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever chapters, volunteers, and members also have much to be thankful this year.  Pheasant and quail populations are strong.  Our habitat programs have established, improved, or maintained over 1.8 million acres of Nebraska pheasant and quail habitat.  The level of support PF and QF chapters receive from our many sponsors, donors, underwriters, supporters, and members is strong and growing each day.  We have many strong and close partnerships with many great agencies and organizations that allow us all to create more habitats on the Nebraska landscape.  PF and QF chapters have the best and most devoted volunteers of any conservation group.  We’ll be celebrating these and many more reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving Day.

As you sit around the dinner table surrounded by family and friends please remember all of the reasons you have to give thanks.  If  perhaps, you spend some time in the field after dinner chasing a rooster or a covey be sure to give thanks that we live in a country that allows us all to enjoy the outdoors.
