Nebraska Pheasant and Quail Season Opens Saturday!

The most highly anticipated day of the year for most pheasant and quail hunters will be here in a few short days… Nebraska’s pheasant and quail season opens Saturday October 28th!  Nebraska’s 60 Pheasants Forever and 3 Quail Forever chapters wish you and your hunting group a safe and successful season.  Your support of PF and QF has helped ensure that this year’s season and seasons to come are filled with great memories of time spent in fields with friends, family, and dogs chasing your favorite game birds.

Just this past year alone PF and QF chapters have had a huge impact on the Nebraska landscape.  This year we have improved habitat on 7,805 projects totaling 300,325 acres.  PF and QF chapters raised and spent over $2.25 million on habitat and educational projects in Nebraska.  Since 1986, PF and QF chapters have improved, established, or maintained 1,895,844 acres of habitat in Nebraska investing over $17.3 million on habitat and education!

None of our accomplishments would be possible without the support of pheasant and quail hunters supporting their local chapter.  Thank you and we hope you enjoy this season and many more to come.
