The best day of the year for most Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever members is this coming Saturday… Opening Day!  Opening Day is steeped in traditions, fun, friends, family, and the great outdoors.  It also a time to enjoy the fruits of the seeds planted because of the hard work and support PF and QF chapter volunteers, members, partners, sponsors, and donors.  Without these fine people PF and QF would not be able to positively impact wildlife habitat and pheasant and quail populations. 

Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever would like to remind you to be sure to ask for permission before hunting on privately owned land.  The farmers and ranchers who own a vast majority of the wildlife habitat in Nebraska deserve our courtesy and respect.  Please remember to ask for permission to hunt and respect the wishes of the landowner. 

We hope you are able to get out and chase some wily roosters and quail this coming weekend with your family and friends.  Have a safe and successful hunting season.
