Missouri River Outdoor Expo A Huge Success

The Missouri River Outdoor Expo was held this past weekend at the beautiful Ponca State Park.  Record crowds attend the third annual event.  Pheasants Forever was a proud partner of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Scheel’s All Sports, and several other organizations who all worked together to make this event a huge success.  On Saturday, an estimated 18-20,000 people attended the Outdoor Expo and a similar sized crowd attended on Sunday, shattering last years record attendance of 18,000.

Participants were able to enjoy many different activities that introduced them to several aspects of hunting, fishing, camping, and a host of other outdoor activities.  Pheasants Forever volunteers from the Dixon County, Logan Creek, and the Dakota/Thurston Counties PF chapters helped staff the PF booth and the blue rock shooting.

Pheasants Forever was involved with this event because of the great conservation messages that were being told by all of the partners.  Families were having a great time in the outdoors and gaining a better appreciation of wildlife, fish, and conservation.

Pheasants Forever congratulates the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and all of the sponsors and partners on a job well done.  We look forward to being a part of another successful event next year.
