“Wildlife Central” is back at Husker Harvest Days in 2006

Come see PF’s new permanent building at Husker Harvest Days.  The new building will be home to the popular landowner helpdesk where landowners can receive wildlife habitat advice from wildlife professionals. 

Landowners who wish to visit the landowner helpdesk should bring a legal description of their property in order to receive one-on-one habitat assistance from Farm Bill Biologists with Pheasants Forever, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, and the Natural Resource Conservation Service.  Biologist will be able to provide consultation regarding conservation program eligibility for USDA, state, and PF habitat programs as well as provide technical assistance in wildlife planning and development.     

Husker Harvest Days runs from September 12^th through September 14^th in Grand Island.  You’ll be able to find the new PF exhibit in lot number 44 at the intersection of Main Street and Central Avenue.  To see a complete list of vendors and a map of locations, visit www.huskerharvestdays.com

In addition to the landowner helpdesk, we will have information about habitat and habitat programs, Youth Mentor Hunts, upcoming events, and much more.  Gun-A-Week IV Tickets will also be available at our booth.  This is a great opportunity to learn more about all that PF is accomplishing in the Cornhusker state.
