2008-2009 State Habitat Raffle Winner Announced
| The drawing for the 2008-2009 State Habitat Raffle was conducted at the Antelope Valley PF banquet on May 9th. The lucky winner was Larry Moeller from Lincoln, NE. Larry became one of 45 finalists at the Washington County PF banquet this year.
Larry had his choice of a Franchi 28 gauge O/U, Terry Redlin's 25th Anniversary Print, Caribbean Cruise, or a 7 day African Safari. Larry is still debating on what grand prize to take, but he is leaning towards the Franchi 28 gauge. The State Habitat Raffle was conducted at 45 events and grossed over $26,000 in 2008-09! The State Habitat Raffle began in 1995 and has been conducted every year since that time. Over the past 14 years, the State Habitat Raffle has grossed over $326,000. These funds have been used to provide vests for every Youth Mentor Hunt participant, grants and interest free loans to chapters, the Rooter Tales newsletter, the Husker Harvest Days building, and many other habitat and promotional activities throughout Nebraska.

**The State Habitat Raffle was started in 1995. Raffle proceeds are used to purchase hunting vests for every youth that attends a Youth Mentor Hunt in Nebraska, print the Rooster Tales newsletter, help fund the PF/QF building at Husker Harvest Days, and many other habitat and promotional activities.
