With 92% of every dollar raised going to program services, Pheasants Forever is the most cost effective wildlife conservation group in the country.
Pheasants Forever is a nonprofit conservation organization formed in 1982 in response to the continuing decline of upland wildlife. Quail Forever is a nonprofit conservation organization formed in 2005. Nationwide, PF and QF has 600 chapters in 26 states and 2 Canadian Provinces and 110,000 members. Our objective is simple - to raise funds for local habitat projects, conservation education and other worthy conservation causes.
In 2009 alone, the Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever chapters in Nebraska:
- Spent over $3.49 million on wildlife habitat and conservation education programs.
- Created over 287,067 acres of new wildlife habitat.
- Planted 106,576 trees and wildlife shrubs in the state.
Since 1986, Nebraska Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever chapters have:
- Created, enhanced and maintained 2.85 million acres of habitat.
- Worked on 78,583 projects with landowners.
- Planted over 4.7 million trees and wildlife shrubs.
- Spent over $26.7 million dollars on habitat and conservation education projects.
